TEMPER TYPES

The most common tempers for 1050 / 1050A aluminium are:

• O - Soft
• H14 - Strain-hardened - 1/2 hard.
• H24 - Work hardened then partially annealed to half hard 
• H34 - applied to alloys which, unless stabilised, gradually age-soften at room temperature.
